Immigrants have asked to be part of the 2025 election process.
They have asked to exercise the right to vote from the countries where they live. A call for protests on July 18 in front of the Parliament building is circulating on social networks with the hashtag "#duatëvotoj2025", meaning next year's central elections.
This issue is also persistently demanded by the Albanian opposition, but a decision has not yet been made on whether immigrants will be able to express their will in 2025.
